Estate Planning

The firm counsel clients in lifetime and testamentary estate planning, administration of decedents; estates and related litigation; tax considerations in the estate planning process; the selection and implementation of appropriate wills, trusts and family partnerships; assisting individuals in minimizing estate, gift and income taxes; and reviewing estate plans in light of changing family circumstances or tax laws.

In administering an estate, the firm assists the family in valuing the decedent's assets, maintaining the integrity of the family business, conducting court proceedings, paying valid claims and death taxes, disposing of assets in accordance with the decedent's will, trust or beneficiary designations, and post-mortem tax planning.  In addition, the firm has expertise in the following areas:
